Household waste is placed in 360-litre wheeled grey bins bearing the municipal logo and is picked up on Fridays after 7 a.m.
Recycling is collected EVERY THURSDAY.
Household waste and recycling collection is automated.
Note that bins belong to a building, not a person; therefore, you must leave them behind if you move. There is a specific way to place a bin at the curb, namely with the municipal logo facing the street. The most common problem encountered is incorrectly positioned bins. Note also that materials placed in a small 64-litre bin or left beside a 360-litre bin will not be collected. Large boxes must be cut into pieces and placed inside the bin.
The lid of the bin must be kept closed.
Large items that will not fit into the bin will be collected only on the third Friday of each month.
For more information, go to the Residual Material Collection section.
