Le Service d’urgence et de protection incendie de Pincourt et de Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot invites you to take this opportunity to check your smoke detectors over the weekend.
These few simple actions can save lives:
- Check the batteries in your smoke detectors and replace them if needed;
- Test their functionality using the test button;
- Make sure each floor of your home, including the basement, is equipped with a smoke detector;
- Replace any device that is over 10 years old or shows signs of malfunction.
