Aikibudo and Kobudo are two closely linked martial arts and are not sports like certain other martial arts that hold competitions.  Aikibudo is a collection of techniques practiced with the bare hands and Kobudo is practiced with weapons.  Aikibudo is a dynamic style of Aikido and self-defence that puts the emphasis on projections, key articulations, and immobilisations.

The L’Île-Perrot Basketball Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the sport of basketball and bring it to the youth of our region. There are participatory (house league) and competitive levels, so each child can find a level that fits him or her best.

We are looking for volunteer instructors to fill our growing needs.  A good knowledge of the game is an asset, BUT the desire to help our kids is even more important!  We provide the training to interested volunteers.  We also need volunteers for various other tasks.

Team play on ice consisting of fast action with an emphasis on no intentional physical contact.Required equipment: skates, helmet with ringuette-specific face mask, neck guard, elbow pads, hockey gloves, shin and knee pads, ringuette-specific girdle, pants, sweater, ringuette stick.

Schedule:The season will begin at the end of August for Novice, Atome, Benjamine, Junior, and Cadette, and at the beginning of September for pre-Moustique and Moustique.

The season ends in April.

These are all terms used by our teenage skateboarding enthusiasts at the skatepark at the Des Mésanges park. The teens of Notre-Dame benefit from a skatepark to practice the sport from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. A skateboarding professional will help you to develop your skills and to discover new techniques to make you a more advanced skateboarder.

The Centre offers a number of winter activities. By purchasing a membership card, you have access to the cross-country ski trails, to the two tube slides, to snow shoe trails, as well as our ice skating rink under the big tent. We have arranged an area especially for you on the main floor of 2455 Perrot Boulevard, where you can have a bite to eat, in a pleasant ambiance for you to enjoy, and with an equipment rental service. The Ville Île-Perrot Aquatic Club is in its 13th year of participation in the Association of Lakeshore Pools (ALPS). The goal of the club is to promote swimming for children and teenagers. CLASSICAL AND JAZZ BALLET
This course touches two genres of dance, classical ballet and jazz ballet.  You will therefore learn choreography in each of these dance genres. Stretching, the barre, ground exercises, as well as improvisation are some the important aspects of this course.  The more advanced have the opportunity to wear their pointes for classical ballet.  Not just for girls - boys are welcome too!

The year-end show will be held Saturday May 3rd, 2008, at Théâtre Paul-Émile-Meloche, Cité des Jeunes High School.
