The following elements constitute the annual municipal tax account:
Property Tax
This is applied to the total evaluation of the property (terrain and buildings) according to the fixed rates annually by the municipal council.
Aqueduct, Sewers, and Garbage Removal Taxes
These taxes are payable as a uniform all-inclusive amount for each household.
Local Distribution of Taxes
These taxes are used to spread by sector the cost of work on permanent infrastructure; for which the capital is reimbursed over period of 10, 15, or 20 years.
All annual taxes are part of the same account, which can be paid in one single payment or in two equal payments, one at the end of February and the other in mid-June.

Fees for real estate transfers are imposed on the buyer for each real estate transaction on the higher of the standardized municipal evaluation value or price stated in the contract. The municipality normally invoices on the account one month after the transaction. It is payable in a single payment within 30 days.
Taxpayers can pay their tax accounts by mail, in person at the Town Hall, or at one of the following financial institutions (automated teller, in person, by internet, or by telephone).
