Under the authority of the municipal council, the General Directorate is responsible for the management of the municipality, and, to this end, plans, organizes, directs, and controls the set of activities of the latter.

The General Directorate ensures communication between the Council, the committees, and the municipal employees, and oversees the enforcement of municipal bylaws and the enactment of the Council’s decisions. He also monitors the use of public funds.

The General Directorate also responsible for humans resources.
