It is in my capacity as the mayor of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot that it gives me pleasure to welcome you to our showcase of the world. During your visit, I invite you to rummage through the pages of this site in order to discover the variety of services offered by the city and the numerous attractions in our city, loaded with history, anchored in the present and aimed towards the future.
Located immediately to the West of the Island of Montreal, Notre-Dame is a green jewel set in the heart of the Saint Lawrence River. Its spectacular views, its picturesque areas, its historic mill, its fields and forests, its cordial districts all contribute to making our city a privileged area in which a most prized quality of life reigns.
Notre-Dame has always been a point of convergence, a meeting and exchange location, where the passer-by and resident share the pleasure of meeting in a rural area, a few kilometers from the Quebecois metropolis. |

This proximity and distance have forged its personality, now expressed by means of its citizen celebrations, its shelters and touristy sites, by the harvests of our fields and of our orchards, or even by the dynamism of our collective initiatives.
To live in Notre-Dame is to grow up in a peaceful neighborhood, go to school near one’s home, practice one’s favorite sport, ride a bike around the island, picnic at the historic Pointe-du-Moulin Park, or simply take the time to breathe in the fresh air. It is also taking advantage, summer and winter, of the immense bodies of water that are the Saint Lawrence River and Lake Saint-Louis, accessible at numerous points around the island.
We are proud of the unique character of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot and it is in this spirit that our agricultural, commercial, cultural, recreational, athletic and touristic activities participate out of sheer will to promote a lasting and humane development, in harmony with the accomplishments and aspirations of the Perrotdamois community.
