Policy for the collection of branches

The city offers one FREE pick up of branches per month to occupied homes only; up to a maximum capacity of 4` X 4` X 8`` (maximum of 4 inches in diameter). These pick ups will start on the 2nd Monday of every month from mi-April to mid November. For this service, you must call the Land administration at 514-453-4128 option 1. For all special cases or for a special pick up, the cost will be paid by the citizen using this service. The city has the right to refuse a special request. The branches must be organized in an orderly way as to not obstruct a passage way or street. Leaving branches on properties outside regular pick up days can present problems and be hazardous. To avoid any misunderstanding; if you have doubts regarding the extra costs, please contact us before cutting the branches.
